Primary 7
P7a are looking at the Second World War as their topic. They are most interested in the Home Front.
This tells them how people lived at home during the war.
What was available to eat?
Where did the evacuees go?
The P7a pupils represented our school at Poppy Scotland in Kelvingrove Museum and Art Galleries. They were a credit to our school, their parents and their teacher.
We received this letter from Bailie Catherine McMaster.
`This was a creative moment to hear how children understood the cost the cost of war and the wonders of being alive today. I was impressed with the confidence shown by soloists to engage with the words and the message of Peace. Sadness and reflection of the remembrance event was beautifully presented. The class of P7 is well rehearsed and sound like vibrant youthful voices of the new generation and renewal of our city.`

P7a also raised £500 to send to Swaziland..
