St Timothy`s Primary School is a Roman Catholic Primary School in the Greenfield area of Glasgow. Our catchement area is a mix of local authority housing and privately owned homes.
The school is high achieving with national assessment results consistently higher than city and national averages.
The commitment of staff and pupils has been recognised by several prestigious external awards in recent years :
Staff are always willing to give of their own time to support the learning and teaching of our pupils. There is a wide range of after school clubs and activities each year. Upper school children are encouraged to take part in a week-long residential trip to an outdoor centre either in Scotland or Ireland .
Staff in the school work in close partnership with parents and the local parishes in the education of each child.
Child Safety / Child Protection Policy:
All educational establishment and services must take positive steps to help children protect themselves by ensuring that programmes of health and personal safety are central to the curriculum. It is important that the school has in place a curriculum that ensures that children have a clear understanding of the differences between appropriate and inappropriate behaviour on the part of another person, no matter who.
As with other areas of the curriculum, you will be kept informed of the health and personal safety programme for your child’s establishment.
