Communication with Parents

At St. Timothy’s Primary  Primary School we use a variety of ways to keep in touch.

Class Diaries – will let parents know what homework has been set and is also used to communicate between the class teacher and parents.

Curriculum Newsletters – will be sent out each term (4 per year) to keep parents informed about their child’s curriculum and ways in which they can support their child.

Letters – further information which requires a response may be sent out in letter form.

School website/Twitter – will contain a great deal of information about the school.  It is a good idea to check this regularly. Our Twitter account is StTimothysG42

Text messaging – You will also receive text reminders about events/school closures etc.

Meetings - Parents and carers are welcome in the school to discuss any aspect of their child’s development and progress.  To avoid disappointment, it is advisable to make an appointment.  There are various opportunities throughout the year when parents can discuss their child’s progress with the class teacher and view the child’s work.

Parents and carers are welcome at other events throughout the school year e.g. workshops, information evenings, school  performances, Open Afternoon in May, and other school/class events.  The school newsletter and website will keep you informed.
